Netherlands (1977), Swizerland (81), America
(1982) and Spain (1988). Facom becomes
Number One in Europe for hand tools. Garage
equipment operations continue to develop
and Facom becomes a specialist in emission
control and wheel alignment.
The Facom Group takes on a
global dimension through acquisitions
such as Bost (pliers), Garnache (screwdrivers),
Virax (pipework), Dela (measuring), Britool
(hand tools, GB), SK hand tools (wrenches,
USA), Usag (hand tools, Italy), Sykes
Pickavant (hand tools and automotive equipment,
GB) and, more recently, Beissbarth (garage
equipment, Germany).
