In 2011 Facom joined two other group brands, Stanley and DEWALT, as official sponsors of the famous French Tech3 Yamaha team.

This partnership strengthens the links between FACOM and motor sports. The Moto GP championship is one of the world's most widely watched motor sports, with star riders and with fans in every country.   This championship takes place throughout the year in 15 different countries.

This year the Tech 3 team, whose team manager is the emblematic Hervé Poncharal, have lined up two riders whose talents complement each other: The experienced American rider Colin EDWARDS, and the young rookie from the world of Superbike, English rider Cal CRUTCHLOW.   

The entire team of Tech 3 Yamaha mechanics now use Facom tools exclusively, both in their tool-kits during Grand Prix events and in the workshops at Borne les Mimosas in Var, France, where the bikes are prepared.

In addition, Facom and the other brands will be present in the circuit village at seven of the Grand Prix events taking place in Europe (France, UK, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, The Czech Republic and Spain).
