The interest of professional car mechanics in the FACOM brand has not wavered. The great Fangio himself swore by FACOM and promoted the catalogue throughout the world. Since then, most racing champions have started off with a toolbox on loan from FACOM in the boot.
Alain Prost, one of the modern masters of setting Formula 1, often recalls that his first tools were provided for him by FACOM, which is still the partner of the Williams-Renault team, but also of Porsche, Peugeot, Citroen and Jaguar.
