Number One in Europe

FACOM was listed on the Paris stock market in 1971. Market internationalisation became a part of the company strategy in 1970, with the formation of the Belgian and German subsidiaries of FACOM. These were followed by subsidiaries in Italy (1971), England and the Netherlands (1977), Switzerland (1981), the US (1982) and Spain (1988).

In 1974, on the death of André Mosès, son of FACOM founder Louis Mosès, the catalogue, with a print-run of 320,000 copies, offered more than 4,000 items.
